Bucket List or Bust

I've been thinking a lot about what it means to live recently. I don't mean the kind of living where you breathe in and out. I mean the kind where you feel happy and fulfilled and excited. What is it that makes people genuinely happy? Clearly there are the basic answers like a clear conscience, spiritual balance, a healthy lifestyle, etc., but I actually think it's more. Granted, each of those things lead to a more fulfilled existence, but I've just been thinking about what makes people excited for life's next adventure. And then I had one of those BAM moments, and I realized that people have aspirations, and the fulfilling of those aspirations is what makes life's experiences exciting. A bucket list, more or less. So, in the quest to find fulfillment and excitement in my life, I have created my own bucket list.

1. Sleep under the stars. I've been camping tons of times, but I've never slept under the stars.
2. Write a book. Seriously...people say they want to do this, but I actually studied English in college and I know how to write a book. Now I just have to find time.
3. Go white-water rafting. This is as extreme as I go. I have no need to jump out of airplanes or turn myself into a human rubberband.
4. Get married.
5. Open a bakery. A cute little one that sells cinnamon rolls and brownies.
6. See a space shuttle launch. Live.
7. Own a Jeep. Jeeps are straight up hot.
8. Run a 5k. I know it doesn't sound like a huge massive goal, but I think it would be a really cool thing to do.
9. Travel. Specifically across an ocean or two.

Anyway...those are a few of my dreams, I guess. Except dreams I have every intention of making come true. My bucket list. Haha.
