So, as it turns out, planning a vacation around a space shuttle launch is like hitting a moving target...nearly IMPOSSIBLE! The mission was supposed to launch March 18th but then got pushed back to April 5th. As they were getting space shuttle Discovery ready for launch, though, they found some problems with the helium systems, and no one really knew for sure if it was going to launch. Well, yesterday NASA made the big announcement...ALL SYSTEMS ARE GO!!! I am so excited!!! I leave Tuesday...T-minus 3 days until the best week of my life!!!
