Platonic is a Subjective Term

What do you do when you fall for a good friend? Not just one of those, “Oh I like him,” or “He’s pretty cute,” or “Oh, man. Do they make them any cooler?” No. A full-blown fall. When you actually feel sad if they have a bad day. Or when you realize the reason they make you so mad sometimes is because you care about them so much. Or when you actually answer that midnight text because it’s from them. Or when you give up plans just because they want to play. Or when your friends tell you not to read into it…that he’s just not that into you, but you can’t help but hold on to that tiny little shred of hope. Or when you see how great things could be, but for some reason that’s just not communicated. BLAST! What the heck do you do? Is this to be my life’s great plague? To fall for people who are meant to be platonic?

I obviously don't know the situation, but if you don't know if he is that into you or not, maybe it is time to cross #30 off your list.

Wow, Kristen! I hate to drop this one on you, but that's pretty much how I feel about my wife. That's not falling, it's loving. Have fun with that. ;)
