(Wo)man's Best Friend

Meet Gemini. She's my dog. As of two hours ago. Isn't she adorable!?! I fell in love with her the minute I saw her. I was supposed to be getting clothes for my new job, but I "accidentally" popped into PetSmart for a few minutes and met this little lady. The foster parent told me a little about her, and then how to adopt her. So I drove down to the animal shelter in the pouring rain, filled out my paperwork, proved to Johnny (animal guy) that we are a good match, and made it final. Johnny even told me she had a litter of puppies before coming to the shelter- he could tell by just looking at her. She's believed to be around 3 years old, and I think she's perfect. She came to the shelter as a stray, so they assigned her a name- Victoria. She doesn't look like a Victoria to me, so I renamed her Gemini. You know- like the NASA mission. If you didn't believe me about my space obsession before, you have plenty of evidence to believe me now. At any rate, Gemini is getting spayed on Wednesday and I'll pick her up after work!
